I purchased this lamp intrigued by the benefits of red light therapy. While it came with clear instructions, I prefer using it while lying in bed, holding it in front of me, rather than sitting at a desk. This position feels more comfortable and enhances the relaxation experience. My favorite setting is number one as it mixed both lights. It brings glasses to protect your eyes.From the first use, I noticed my skin felt tighter, and I became noticeably sleepy during sessions—a testament to its calming effect. However, after three days of my first use, I experienced some skin peeling. Therefore, I recommend caution if you have upcoming social events and are using this lamp for the first time.Overall, it's a soothing and effective device, but be mindful of your skin's reaction, especially during initial uses.

Flashes on and off after only one month of use

Received this item February 16th and one month later it is defective. It does not stay on and flashes. Return window is of course closed and no help on contacting company for correcting the error.An amend to my review..the company reached out to me to offer a replacement panel. Quick response and replacement and I appreciate the prompt customer service. This panel is working appropriately so far.

Functional and a great price

There are a broad spectrum (haha, spectrum) of red light devices available out there ranging from a lower priced unit like this to face masks that are $300+. I think this is a great entry device if you're getting into red light therapy to see if it works for you or is something you want to peruse. It's very competitively priced at $35 though I wonder at how functional and effective it is at that price. I've used it for over a month and have seen no changes but I know it can take longer. It's easy to use, a good size that you can use at home or take for travel (especially if you don't want to travel with a more expensive device), and while I don't think it's going to last forever it's durable enough for the price.I'd recommend it as a beginner model but don't expect miracles

I have a few red lights but I was looking for something compact and mobile so I could travel with it. I use it on my face and to heal body issues. Used on my sore wrist this week and it seems to have helped to increase the healing process!
